This month's musicians
Tia Bow marks a new chapter for Irish songwriter Fionnuala Fagan-Thiébot, shifting from oral histories to deeply personal storytelling. Come to the farm this October to hear from her upcoming album, Blackberry Path - It blends acoustic and electronic textures with transcendent vocals, synths, strings, guitars and beats - a fresh take on contemporary folk. “A unique artist, deeply in touch with the landscape around her.” We like that!!
Clare Galway is a Belfast-born multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and choir leader from Northern Ireland. Celtic connections and Filipino heritage combine to create a NEW music. Clare infuses soul and heart into the sound world of Irish traditional music.
What are Sunday Sessions?
A monthly night of live music at Laurelbank Farm, held the last Sunday of every month in our converted barn — a tiny but gorgeous venue on a 7-acre organic smallholding just outside Saintfield. Local and touring musicians, a real chance to sit and actually listen, flatbreads before the music starts, bring your own drinks. Free parking on site.
Sunday Sessions is organised by Aisling Quiery and Kevin Young. Thank you both!
